This will schedule the writing prompts to represent the atomic writing-plus-tone knowledge in the way that I think you're asking. If you want to keep the writing and tone always inseparable, then you can, on each writing prompt, both write the character and think of the tone, then mark yourself wrong if you got either part wrong. If you get the writing wrong and tone correct, you will often start to see the writing by itself, without the tone, for example. The two prompts are only combined if both are due.
